
Drew Blythe Barrymore was born on February 22, 1975. The actress is an American actor and director. She is part of the Barrymore actor family, and has received numerous awards and nominations including the Golden Globe Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award and the Screen Actors Guild Award. She was also nominated for seven Emmy Awards and a British Academy Film Award. She received an award on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2004.Barrymore gained fame as a child actor with her breakout part in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. She published Little Girl Lost after a quite public childhood of drug and alcohol abuse. [1] She starred in a string of successful films in the 1990s and the 2000s, which included Charlie's Angels, Never Been Kissed, Poison Ivy, Boys on the Side, Mad Love, Batman Forever, Scream and Ever After. Barrymore was in the spotlight along with Adam Sandler on three films, The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates. Her other films include Firestarter, Donnie Darko, Riding in Cars with Boys, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, Fever Pitch, Music and Lyrics, Going the Distance, Big Miracle, and Miss You Already. Her directorial debut, Whip It, also included her. Grey Gardens won her a Screen Actors Guild Award as along with an Golden Globe Award. She is currently host of The Drew Barrymore Show, her syndicated talk show.
