Sara Aliza Eisen, an American television journalist, is currently working with CNBC. She is the co-anchor of the channel's programs 'Squawkon the Street' as well as Closing Bell'. Although she's from Ohio, she wasn't interested in markets and currencies during her time in college. When she was a student at New York University, she did an internship with a start-up website named ForexTV.com. This was when she had her first exposure to business news. After that, she received an master's degree in broadcasting at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. She then did a four-month-long stint at Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. After returning to the US in the fall, she was able to work for Bloomberg's offices in New York. She became a TV anchor later. CNBC employed her in December 2013 as reporter. She has served as co-anchor for 'Worldwide exchange and Power Lunch', and then landed the job of "Closing Bell' in the year 2018. Eisen is also a co-anchor of 'Squawk on the Street' since 2014. Her main goal since her arrival at CNBC has been global consumer news.
